Singapore just won another Olympic gold medal, and it wasn’t even big in the local news.

But did you know, Singapore also sent a group of highly skilled chefs to Germany to compete in the IKA Culinary Olympics held in Germany from 21–26 October 2016?
The Singapore National Culinary Team did such a good job that they just won the Gold Medal for the Cold Display Table segment!

In fact, it’s not like no one knew they were participating.
A check on the Singapore Chefs Facebook page shows support from many F&B partners, radio station 883JIA fm and food bloggers joHoR kAki and Rubbish Eat Rubbish Grow.
In any case, the chefs are still hard at work for the rest of the Olympics.
